Collecting Vintage Halloween Postcards
Old Halloween post cards are VERY collectible. Halloween cards were made in smaller quantities than other holiday postcards and are therefore more rare. Plus, many of these cards have really wonderful graphics and illustrations.
Vintage Halloween post cards are often the highest priced postcards listed on the current eBay auctions, with artist signed examples topping out the list.
Halloween postcard designs tend to be more cute than scarey. Some are even quite romantic. Those that feature traditional Halloween images such as jack-o-lanterns, witches, and black cats seem to be the most sought after.
